I am asking for everyone to please keep Nicholas and his family in your prayers as he started chemo yesterday for Hodgkins Disease. Aaron and his family has known Nicholas since he was born and he is now 13. Nicholas was a Junior groomsman in our wedding. This was all pretty sudden and unexpected but he has been so brave! He had a lump removed from his neck, some bone marrow tests done and then the port stuck in his chest where they will administer the chemo. This was done about two weeks ago. Well yesterday they started the treatment and he will be in the hospital for the next three days to see how his body responds to treatment. A 13 year old should not have to go through this! This has been very tough on his family and on Aaron and his brother Adam especially. Aaron went and saw him yesterday in the hospital, but apparently he is not feeling great today.
As I said, just please keep him in your prayers, to continue to have strength and his positive attitude! Thanks so much!
