Yikes...Here Comes Ike!!

Well I guess you could say it is the calm before the storm! We are both sitting here at home with the blinds open watching the wind start to get going. It is gray and gloomy out. We have no idea what to expect. We have had great updates from Joe Bastardi, who works for AccuWeather. They evacuated a bunch of people right near the coast but told us to stay put. We have ice, water, flashlights, food, candles...hopefully we will be good to go. WE have put any loose items in the garage and now its just the waiting game! The worst part about it is that the bad part of the storm will be here in the overnight hours, so it will be a little bit scary in the dark! Hopefully we wont lose power for too long! Anyways, I will keep you posted.
