Because of all the stuff we had going on while Abigail was turning 2, we decided to low key it and not really have a BIG birthday party for her. We opted for having a couple of her friends (Linnea and Cole) meet for a Chic Fil A lunch on the Friday before her birthday and then planned to do a little family/close friends gathering on Saturday. Aunt Diane made her birthday cupcakes in advance so we could take them to Chic Fil A. It was perfect and I think Abigail had a fun time. She just loves the part where everyone sings Happy Birthday to her. I was so mad at myself though for forgetting to bring a candles!! :(
